‘CONNECTED HOUSE’

Objective of this project:

1. Individual work : collective housing for a family and 3 students.

2. Group work : creation of common spaces and landscaping including the individual projects.

Common space

The site was originally on a slope offering a view on the mountain and a panoramic view of Tamarin. The slope was modified in 2 levels of 3m difference which facilitated access to the site. Two common spaces were created with various corners for different activities - a smaller one for the residents on this site and a bigger one for the public.

Collective housing - “Connected house”

All floors are connected by columns. The 3m difference gave rise to an underground floor. The ground floor was used as a common space for the family members and the students. The tilted columns were placed in different directions and created a “floating house” as first floor.
