“LOR LA RI”

Objective of this project: Large-scale urban planning project to put architecture at the service of the residents living along the main street and to facilitate their cohabitation with new modern infrastructure.

The main issues encountered at this specific area are the speeding cars, the heat and the lack of safety for a shopkeeper. The road was made one-way and new traffic arrangements were created. The pavements on each side were extended and more lights were placed. The project “Lor la ri” consisted of 3 infrastructures arranged at the following 3 places :

At 1 : Re-arrangement of a commercial stand for a local shopkeeper for the safety of her customers.

At 2 : Construction of a common space and a green pergola along the wall which allow people gatherings under the shade.

At 3 : Construction of a pedestrian crossing between the bus stop and the Spar shopping center to slow down vehicles.

This project, tested in real scale on the site, was efficient.

Group project with Ghaïcha, Tressie, Antsa, Divyaa, Greg, Jordan, Heeshant, Guillaume, Valentin
