“L’EMBARCATION”

Objective of this project: Creation of a cinemobile that is deployable and transportable.

This project aimed to have people get away from the com­mercial, busy and clustered environment at Caudan Waterfront. What influenced our project was the poetry behind Regat­tas which is a typical Mauritian boat.

Day activity consists of people relaxing on the “regattas” to enjoy the view and the gentle waves. The movie “Life of Pi” inspired our project for the night activity. The latter consists of all the “regattas” joining together to watch a movie on a deployable screen.
